National Hispanic Business Association (NHBA) to Merge with the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) creating an organization with over 14,000 members nation-wide.
The National Board of Directors of the National Hispanic Business Association (NHBA) approved the merger of NHBA with the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA). The historic merger will create one of the largest professional organizations for Latinos in the areas of finance, accounting, business and related fields. ALPFA National will now be comprised of 38 professional chapters and over 85 collegiate chapters. According to Manny Espinoza, ALPFA CEO, the merger is significant in that it unites two organizations committed to creating opportunities for Latinos in business and will now be a joint force of resources, members and talent.
