About me
Prior to engaging with the tech industry, I worked in the hospitality industry as part of the Gibson's Restaurant Group. In a high-pressure kitchen environment, success depends on quick thinking, effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to adapt and problem-solve. These skills are directly transferable—and essential—to a successful career in technology.
I completed the highly selective i.c.stars internship program, where only 21 participants were chosen from over 500 applicants. I committed to 1000+ hours of developing my technical, business, and leadership skills by working in a team to create a centralized resource hub for the NFP Thresholds.
As I advance in my career, my professional goal is to serve as a representative of my community, creating a safe and supportive environment for aspiring Mexican Americans entering the corporate world. My personal goal is to work to build my technical knowledge and practice more hobbies, as I love to learn.
