Background/Education/Experience
I completed my Pre-Architecture Associate’s degree at the College of DuPage before transferring to Illinois Tech to continue my Bachelor’s in Architecture. I’ve been fortunate to gain hands on experience as a Construction Management Intern at FCL Builders, learning about preconstruction, production, and field operations. My studies have given me the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from contributing to the remodeling of a London pub during IIT’s 2024 Study Abroad program to collaborating with COD Fuel Garden in 2023 to design and build a functional storage shed. Each experience has deepened my skills, strengthened my teamwork, and fueled my passion for learning and growing in the field.
Organizations & clubs
I currently serve as one of the Professional Development Chairs for Illinois Tech Arquitectos. Outside of school, I am a Student Member of Professional Women in Construction and participate as a Administrative Assistant for the Latina Voices Institute.
